POSCO Daewoo has selected Hytera Mobilfunk GmbH Sucursal del Peru to supply PT580H TETRA hand portable terminals to the Peruvian National Police. POSCO Daewoo, the largest international trading firm in Korea, has the contract to equip the newest fleet of intelligent patrol vehicles (Ssangyong Rexton W) to aid the Peruvian National Police in 17 cities in Peru.

The PT580H is a robust TETRA radio that is ideally suited for use in public safety. Its high transmission power ensures smooth radio communication.

“This new big achievement together with the latest contracts consolidates Hytera Peru as the leading TETRA supplier in Peru. We have nearly achieved sales of 10,000 TETRA terminals in the country and our solutions based on TETRA and DMR technologies are present countrywide,“ said Luis Perez, Head of Hytera Peru.
