Ranplan, the UK-based indoor and outdoor wireless network planning and deployment solutions provider, is increasing its drive into the Americas with the appointment of new reseller partners.
Brightcomms is an independent Florida-based engineering services company providing end-to-end solutions to the telecoms industry, while Optimal Network Performance (ONP) is a leading Columbian company, specialising in the development of indoor and outdoor mobile networks.
Both new partners will be harnessing their regional market knowledge and customer bases to accelerate the adoption of Ranplan’s iBuildNet all-in-one, indoor and outdoor planning tool for small cell, DAS and HetNet deployments.
iBuildNet uses advanced 3D modelling and fast, accurate 3D ray-tracing, along with powerful data algorithms and analysis to automatically optimise the choice of access point (AP) location, antenna type, power and channel assignment.
The latest release also supports cross-system design and simulation between LTE and Wi-Fi systems, to allow mobile operators to deliver greater coverage and capacity across the enterprise.
“iBuildNet is the most advanced solution for HetNet design that I have seen,” said Jonathan Molea, CEO of Brightcomms. “I was impressed with the ability to manage multi-environment simulations with a single tool and the accuracy of the results. It now takes my team a fraction of the time previously required to complete a planning project.”
“At ONP, we believe that the future of mobile lies in the construction of better networks, which start with macro cells and continue with the construction of better indoor systems,” said John Velásquez, operations and sales director for LATAM at Optimal Network Performance. “This is why iBuildNet is the best tool in the market to deliver these results and we look forward to playing a key role in Ranplan’s growth in South America.”
“We are delighted to have Brightcomms and ONP on board to support our next phase of expansion in the Americas,” said Alastair Williamson, CEO at Ranplan. “These latest appointments are part of our drive to build a global reseller network with partners in a strong position to take iBuildNet to market and provide expert support to customers.”
