Mind the Bridge and EIT Digital announced the finalists for the second edition of Startup Europe Comes to Silicon Valley (SEC2SV) programme today (24 August 2016). The programme enables potential tech Unicorns based in Europe to engage with the main US industry players for sales, funding and collaboration opportunities in order to rapidly scale up on the other side of the Atlantic.
Stream Technologies, which specialises in Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity enablement and data routing, is one of the 17 most innovative tech companies chosen to participate in SEC2SV.
CEOs from leading European tech firms will visit Silicon Valley/San Francisco for a week of presentations and meetings starting on European Innovation Day, 12 September, hosted at the Computer History Museum, Mountain View.
Nigel Chadwick, CEO, Stream Technologies, said: “This is a fantastic showcasing of Stream’s IoT-X software platform technology to a wide audience in the very heart of what is the most widely recognised location for technical innovation and rapid scaling.
“That Stream has been chosen underlines the uniqueness and value of our IoT connectivity enablement, management and billing technology – I am very much looking forward to the opportunity of participating in this event.”
“These companies really epitomise European Innovation - the next TomTom, Spotify, or BlaBlaCar - and we are convinced that their participation in SEC2SV will strengthen the two-way bridge between the European and the Bay Area ecosystems creating value and jobs for both continents,” stated Marko Turpeinen, Director of EIT Digital’s Silicon Valley Hub.
The chosen startups are: Stream Technologies; Awingu; Firstbeat; AB Tasty; MeisterLABs, Controllant; Shopfully; Etix Everywhere; Sciports; T-Me Studios; Vendotel; Bebee, Kanteron Systems; Gleechi; Meniga; Metail; and PCA Predict.
