The M2M Alliance, which promotes M2M technologies and solutions on behalf of providers and users of M2M solutions, has unveiled some of the speakers and events for its M2M Summit on 5-6 October2016 to be held in the Congress Center Düsseldorf in Germany.
The programme for the M2M, IoT and Industry 4.0 sectors is taking shape. Among the highlights are talks from Brigitte Zypries, Scott Amyx, and Eric Goodness, the M2M Alliance’s Academic Day, as well as an evening event offering networking opportunities. The 10th anniversary M2M Summit will present and discuss the latest innovations in the area of the digital transformation.
Along with Brigitte Zypries, the Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Scott Amyx (CEO, Amyx+) and Eric Goodness (VP Gartner), who will take a look into the future of M2M, have already confirmed their participation. The programme is full with more than 40 presentations and talks, panel discussions, the M2M Alliance’s Academic Day, guided tours, and a large evening event.
Additionally, start-ups have the chance to attract attention with pitching sessions. Among other things, international partnerships, the internet of things (IoT), Industry 4.0, standardisation, data management, and security all belong to the most important event topics.
Visiting the M2M Summit and the accompanying exhibition is worthwhile for experts and users alike. Under the patronage of Germany’s Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, the most exciting solutions, products, and possibilities for how users can benefit from the digital transformation will be presented at the event. As in previous years, the M2M Alliance expects 1,000 visitors from all over the world.
“We are excited that we were able to gather so many renowned names and experts for the M2M Summit,” said Dr. Andreas Fink, 1st Chairman of the M2M Alliance (pictured). “This clearly shows the significance that the event enjoys both domestically and abroad, and not only among experts, but also among users from all sectors of the economy.”
