Four year framework deal will see Hytera Mobilfunk provide radio comms networks, as well as responsibility for installation, updating, replacement, repair and maintenance

Hytera wins tender to supply radio communications to EU delegations

Hytera Mobilfunk, the German division of Chinese professional mobile radio firm Hytera, has been awarded the tender to supply EU delegations worldwide with radio communication networks. The framework tender was successfully negotiated with the European External Action Service (EEAS).

The contract will run for the next four years and involves the supply of radio communication systems for local and long distance communications. In addition, Hytera will also be responsible for the installation, updating, replacement, repair and maintenance of those networks. It will also provide technical support for the EU delegations and headquarters of the EEAS.
