CCW 2016: Sepura launches LTE tactical solutions for public safety

Sepura is to launch a new tactical LTE solution at Critical Communications World 2016 (CCW) in Amsterdam, Netherlands (31 May-2 June).

Focused on public safety and defence markets, the hybrid TETRA-LTE solution for tactical operations, which is based on the company’s eNEBULA digital communications network, enables quick and easy deployment of critical communications networks in emergency and special operations.

The solution is designed to offer first responders and armed forces with a quick response in emergency situations by providing reliable coverage and broadband capacity through professional LTE technology.

The hardware is compliant with military grade equipment regulatory demands and is built to withstand the harshest conditions. The solution allows the sharing of real-time video from urban, mobile and body-worn cameras – vital in the coordination of special operations.

It can also be combined with TETRA technology in a hybrid deployment, offering a full range of communication solutions, including comprehensive mission critical voice services.

Marta Fontecha, Head of Product Management for Teltronic, part of the Sepura Group, commented: “Our hybrid TETRA and LTE eNEBULA infrastructure leads the way in the delivery of mission critical communications to customers in the defence sector, and we are currently working on several projects with armed forces in Europe and America.”

Sepura can be found at stand D19 at CCW 2106 at RAI, Amsterdam.
