CCS (Cambridge Communication Systems), creator of Metnet, the self-organising small cell microwave backhaul system, has appointed Olof Lindberg as VP Sales. Lindberg joins CCS to lead the company’s sales function, with a successful track record at both technology start-ups and established industry players.
In recent years, Lindberg has held VP Worldwide Sales positions at various start-ups, taking them from pre-revenue to an established run rate of business. This included Flexenclosure for data centre solutions; Altobridge for remote community GSM/3G solutions; and Cambridge Broadband Networks for backhaul and transmission systems.
Commenting on the appointment, CEO and co-founder Steve Greaves said: “Olof's appointment serves to further strengthen the senior CCS management team during an important phase in the company’s development.”
Earlier in his career, Olof worked in various sales roles at Cisco, where he ultimately managed the global Ericsson account. Olof studied Business Administration, Law and Statistics at Stockholm University, following courses in electronics engineering.
