Hytera Mobilfunk, the German arm of Chinese PMR manufacturer Hytera, has struck a deal with network provider OiV - Transmitters and Communications Ltd, for a public, nationwide DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) trunked radio network in Croatia. Together with its longstanding partner Markoja, the implementation phase of the project is the next objective.
The framework contract initially amounts to a total of 120 Hytera DMR trunking base stations. As a result, Hytera believes it is currently supplying the largest public DMR network in Europe. Possible application areas are the security industry and emergency services in Croatia.
Kai-Uwe Völkening, Vice President System Sales Europe at Hytera Mobilfunk, said: "I am very pleased about the commissioning and the upcoming collaboration with OiV. Hytera Mobilfunk is the right partner to meet the high demands of this project."
