Qatar deploys Mentura unified subscriber management and billing system

Mentura Group has deployed a convergent TETRA and LTE subscriber management system to the Qatar Ministry of Interior. It has delivered a unified subscriber management and billing system. The system provides a single management solution for the Qatar authorities for administering the subscribers and services in a multi-network environment.

“Mentura’s solution allows us to manage the users in both our TETRA and LTE systems via a single provisioning solution. This allows us to operate efficiently our broadening service offering, specifically the public safety LTE services while still developing the existing TETRA voice services,“ said Brigadier Ali Henzab, Director of the Qatar Ministry of Interior Telecommunications Department.

Mentura Group’s convergent management solution manages the subscriber services in multiple networks (e.g. TETRA and LTE), as well as handling network usage details and billing information.

As the public safety network operators are maintaining a complex subscriber configuration compared with commercial networks, the management systems must support these requirements. Mentura’s solutions allow deployment of convergent critical communications services for multi-network and hybrid environments.
