Sepura launches DMR radios for Australia and New Zealand

Sepura has introduced its DMR products with the 450-520MHz frequency band to the Australia and New Zealand regions. The regional variants are DMR Tier II solutions

In addition to the radio terminals, Sepura’s DMR portfolio also supports new applications such as SICS eXpress, a powerful, user-friendly dispatcher. Also available are features such as; Site Link, which can link up to 32 repeaters via a standard IP network allowing users to automatically roam across wide area networks; and Dynamic, which allows network traffic to be automatically shared across available resource for increased efficiency.

Terence Ledger, Sepura’s regional director for the APAC region commented: “The launch of our 450-520MHz variant now allows us to provide a comprehensive DMR Tier II solution for many of the communication challenges faced in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

“We will continue to develop and expand our portfolio, offering our growing network of regional resellers one of the most comprehensive and competitive range of products available.”

Sepura’s vice president DMR, Chris D’Aguiar, added: “Our Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) range guarantees high-performance communication, providing spectral efficiency, advanced voice features and integrated data services. This is a great opportunity for us to continue to grow our DMR presence into markets where we already have widespread penetration with other technologies.”
