CCW 2015: AnsuR showcases ASIGN mission-critical visual communications

The ASIGN solution from AnsuR is designed to deliver content with operational impact, enabling the user to focus only on the relevant information. AnsuR says ASIGN can cut network load by over 99% compared with sending full resolution photos and video.

The ASIGN solution is software only, and field clients run on smartphone, PC and embedded Linux systems for integration in vehicles, UAV etc. A central node will run on a Linux server. ASIGN communicates at IP layer, and supports photos over TETRA, and photos and video over TEDS.

Applications include real-time visual situational awareness capability to enable rapid interaction between observers and analyst/decision makers, and centralised network load management. All information can be geo-tagged for integration into mapping systems and for building a common operational picture.
