Ericsson announced a new contract with Far EasTone, one of the top three Taiwanese telecom operators. The expanded partnership will not only optimise customer experience but also strengthen Far EasTone's leading position in the Taiwanese market.
The contract covers LTE network expansion and optimisation projects, including Ericsson Radio Access Network, Evolved Packet Core, VoLTE, Wi-Fi calling and professional services. All to build a world-leading LTE network of enhanced mobile broadband experience for Far EasTone customers.
The cooperation will lay a solid foundation for Far EasTone to further enhance customer satisfaction through delivering on the "best 4G network in Taiwan" strategy, and to address the needs from enterprise customers for industry transformation. End-users will enjoy superior LTE network performance, and will be able to use HD voice over LTE (VoLTE) and Wi-Fi calling.
