OneAccess boosts Noitel enterprise offering in Italy

Italian telecommunications operator Noitel Italia and OneAccess, a provider of service-enabling network access solutions for telcos and communication service providers, has announced a partnership designed to enhance the operator’s network services portfolio and enable it to deliver an end-to-end business service to the Italian small to medium sized business (SMB) marketplace.

In 2013, OneAccess furnished Noitel Italia with a satellite-enabled business services delivery platform that helped the operator to deliver 22MB of download and 6MB of upload speeds for its enterprise voice and data solutions. The latest announcement will see OneAccess’ products integrated across the operator’s entire portfolio to extend its service offering across mobile, fixed-line and web.

With the addition of OneAccess’ specialist multi-service access routers and service delivery platforms, Noitel Italia can now evolve to become a multi-faceted partner to its customers, offering connectivity services which have, until now, been provided by more specialist systems integrators.

Speaking about the relationship, Andrea Perocchi, Direttore Generale, Noitel Italia, said: “We approached OneAccess as we were looking for an innovative partner that would be able to supply us with the access products, software and expertise we needed to meet the precise requirements of our customers in the SMB sector.

“Noitel Italia originally collaborated with OneAccess, in 2013, on a voice and data satellite service for private and commercial customers and we are pleased to have extended our partnership. OneAccess has helped us establish a well-differentiated proposition for this market, which will enable us to compete more effectively for new business.”

Bertrand Meis, chief executive officer at OneAccess, said: “Noitel Italia needed a single provider with the hardware, software and the skills to help it extend its offering to the SMB market. OneAccess is focused on partnering with operators to deliver a range of market differentiating services and help them to achieve long term cost savings. By replacing multiple CPEs with a single, flexible unit, which can be managed centrally and updated remotely, operators can enjoy reduced capital costs and simpler logistics and operations.”

Products to be delivered by OneAccess include its high-performance multi-service access routers (ONE540 and ONE1540), the One445 as an all-in-box Business in a box, as well as voice and data business gateways.

OneAccess will also be supporting Noitel Italia with dedicated marketing materials, data sheets and presentations, as well as training to their technical and sales/pre-sales teams.
