Hubble, a new services and solutions platform that provides end-to-end IoT Connected Solutions and enables industry leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to rapidly and seamlessly integrate their products to The Cloud, was launched at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona (Booth 7F81) this week.
Hubble describes itself as a global Internet of Things (IoT) Connected Solutions provider. In addition to enabling seamless global IoT connectivity for a broad range of OEM products, Hubble also offers a select range of complete end-to-end IoT solutions for operators and service providers.
It already counts several leading global brands, such as Binatone (the global licensee for Motorola Monitors), AEG, VTech and Beurer among its key partners, who collectively produce over 150 million consumer electronics devices per year.
Hubble claims it is the first full-stack solutions provider of its kind to create a comprehensive suite of Wi-Fi, BLE, ULE and Cellular Cloud connected device profiles with mobile applications and services specifically tailored to the needs of OEMs.
In addition to these well-established Smart Home technologies, Hubble is showcasing its bespoke cellular solution for IoT devices at MWC 2015. Working with Vodafone, one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies with more than 20 years of experience with M2M solutions, Hubble will offer global fully integrated cellular connectivity for IoT devices at extremely affordable prices.
“Operators and Service Providers worldwide are looking for complete IoT solutions to enhance their service offerings while OEMs are looking for seamless IoT connectivity,” said Dino Lalvani, founder and chairman of Hubble.
“We solve both of these problems in a single stroke by enabling our own and our OEM partners’ smart devices to remain connected to The Cloud through the highly reliable, effective and affordable Hubble platform. We see this as an historic step towards our goal of becoming the world’s leading IoT Connected Solutions provider.”
Hubble said it is also dedicated to providing smart home solutions to the end-user and will be unveiling its first complete smart home starter kit at MWC 2015. Set to become one of the most affordable smart home solutions available, with prices starting from just $199, the kit comprises a Hubble WiFi camera (1080p HD), compatible BLE tag and the world’s smartest homephone, the Hubble Hub.
The latter is an Android KitKat-enabled Smart Home Phone with DECT/BLE/WiFi connectivity, is available in a range of screen sizes and colors and has already been launched by a number of leading global telecommunication companies, including Cox Communications and Türk Telekom.
Hubble’s solutions not only make it easier to control various devices both locally and remotely, but also foster interoperability between multiple products. Hubble is a member of the AllSeen Alliance and Thread Group, alongside other major brands such as Electrolux, LG, Nest and Samsung.
Hubble’s solutions can be seen in action at MWC on the products of various world-leading brands including Motorola Monitors, VTech and Beurer. Products on display will include the Motorola SCOUT5000 smart dog collar that lets users live stream video directly to a mobile device, communicate with their pet via the two way audio feature, track its location in real-time, create geo-fencing locations and more.
Also on display, will be Hubble’s range of affordable Smart Home Starter Kits, comprising of a Hubble WiFi camera (1080p HD), compatible BLE tag and a Hubble Hub (Android KitKat Smart Home Phone with DECT/BLE/WiFi connectivity) - available in a range of screen sizes and colors – with prices starting from just $199.
