Kathrein, the specialist communication technologies provider, is reinforcing its board of directors on 1 March 2015 with the appointment of Joe Doering, who will be in charge of sales and marketing.
Doering will be switching from Swisslog Holding AG to the Rosenheim based family-owned company. One of his most important tasks will involve setting up the company’s new international sales structure.
Kathrein specialises in provider mobile communications, signal processing systems and optimised data transmission in buildings, to fibre optic and cable networks and satellite reception technology, to radio and TV transmission and data reception in cars.
Thanks to the new organisation, Kathrein is going to intensify the contact to customers and address the regional market demands even better. “We are thrilled to have gained a professional as extraordinarily experienced and skilled as Joe Doering,” stated Anton Kathrein, CEO of the Kathrein Group.
“His extensive knowledge will optimally enhance the skills of our executive board. Our leadership team is now complete.” The members of the board will continue to share responsibility for sales and marketing issues until Doering starts on 1 March.
Joe Doering (44) has a wealth of experience in the fields of communications technology, sales and marketing. During a period of ten years, the graduate engineer held various high-profile positions at the Siemens AG. He functioned as Head of Strategy at Siemens Communications, as well as Head of Central Sales at the Siemens land-line unit ICN. At Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN), he was in charge of promoting business in regional markets.
Doering’s last position was on the board of directors at Swisslog AG, being responsible for Warehouse & Distribution Solutions.
