Businesses in the south of England are benefitting from a superfast wireless broadband solution provided by Call Flow Solutions using RADWIN wireless broadband technology.

Call Flow Solutions, a telecom and ISP company based in East Peckham ,Kent, has teamed up with RADWIN, the sub-6 GHz broadband wireless solutions provider, to deliver superfast broadband to business users in the ‘final 5%’ of the UK, in areas across Kent, East Sussex and Hampshire which are beyond DSL (direct subscriber line) services.

Comms Networks, a UK wireless distributor, provided Call Flow with the complete supply of equipment and dedicated support of the radio network planning. RADWIN 5000 point-to-multipoint (PtMP) solutions are used for end-user connectivity and the RADWIN 2000 point-to-point for backhaul.

Andy Conibere, managing director at Call Flow Solutions, said: “For businesses to thrive, they require a high-speed Internet connection. With RADWIN’s solutions we can deliver superfast broadband to businesses and homeowners in rural areas at the most competitive price. Instead of the sluggish connections these businesses received in the past - with RADWIN they get a reliable, high-speed Internet connection.

“RADWIN’s solutions are carrier-grade with a smart air-interface so they operate for long ranges and work even in non-line-of-sight, affording us peace of mind and maximum deployment flexibility. As we extend our network to other counties, RADWIN will continue to be our partner of choice.”

Gaurav Chaudhry, director, Comms Networks: “When Call Flow first approached us with their unique requirement, considering the budget and deadline we knew that RADWIN 5000 PtMP and RADWIN 2000 PtP solutions would be the best fit. The systems fulfil Call Flow’s criteria for reliability, performance and most importantly quality of service for their end customers.”

Yaron Ziv, RADWIN’s managing director, Europe, added: “We are excited that Call Flow, one of the most innovative ISPs in the UK, has deployed RADWIN’s wireless solutions to provide fibre-like broadband connectivity with guaranteed service levels to its business customers.

“There is a massive need to serve underserved areas in the UK, as well in other developed countries. The combination of a carrier-class system optimised for fast deployment is what makes RADWIN’s solutions ideal for fulfilling the connectivity needs of businesses in rural areas outside the scope of traditional telecom carriers.

“High-speed internet is a must in today’s fast-paced world. Working together, RADWIN, Call Flow and Comms Networks are turning this vision into a reality,” said Ziv. For more on Radwin's solution see
