Sepura is deploying its DMR two-way radio technology at the Transport Security Expo event taking place in London on 2-3 December 2014.
Sepura’s DMR infrastructure and radios will ensure the smooth running of the exhibition by supporting the Expo’s organisers with event management and coordination.
Transport Security Expo (Transec) is the major global exhibition and conference where security manufacturers, systems integrators and distributors come together in a uniquely focused environment with security buyers and policy makers for aviation, maritime, rail and commercial transportation.
Stuart Longley, product manager for Sepura, commented: “We are delighted to be able to assist Transec’s organisers with our DMR technology. Our DMR solutions’ high-performance communication, advanced voice features and integrated data services will be particularly valuable in the management of this exhibition.
“At Sepura we understand that maintaining operations on a daily basis and smooth communication are vital to the success of any event. Our specialist solutions will allow the organisers to monitor and address issues as they arise, whilst providing seamless cross-team coordination.”
Rebecca Greenall, marketing manager for Sepura, said: “Sepura has longstanding experience in the transport sector and is currently proud to support a variety of well-known organisations across the globe such as SNCF, Toronto Transit, Stockholm City Transport and many more.
“Built on a powerful voice and data network, Sepura solutions can automate and streamline essential processes - such as allocation of personnel and provision of accurate real time passenger information - boosting efficiency while ultimately enhancing both customer service and customer safety.”
At Transec Sepura will also be showcasing a wide range of TETRA and DMR solutions (pictured) for the transit sector on stand J44.
