Sepura creates new international applications role

Sepura has announced the appointment of Nick Koiza in a business development role designed to drive and support sales of its applications portfolio, which was enhanced last year by the acquisition of Portalify, the Helsinki based developer.

Jonathan Hamill, vice president with responsibility for Sepura’s applications business, commented: “The increased global demand for our applications across all sectors has resulted in the need for us to provide increased and dedicated support to our customers and regional sales networks.

“Nick’s extensive global experience, particularly in the Government and Public Safety arena, will enable us to capitalise on the many new opportunities presented by our commitment to the development of operational efficiency-boosting applications.”

Koiza, who has previously worked for Portalify in an international business development role, commented: “I am delighted to re-join at such an exciting time for Sepura’s expanded applications business and welcome the opportunity to make a contribution to its future success. I am looking forward to renewing contact with my existing Portalify customers, and creating many new relationships while representing Sepura in the international market.”

Sepura provides complete end-to-end mobile workforce solutions fulfilling network and device agnostic requirements. Their applications are used for messaging; vehicle and person tracking; remote interrogation of legacy IT, database and other back-office systems; mission critical picture message alerting and emergency 112.
