Wi-Fi providert Xirrus has announced a partnership with Intelligent Stadium Solutions, a specialist developer of fan engagement applications, to offer venue and stadium operators a unique way of delivering digital stadium experiences with highly customisable branded mobile applications.

The joint offering from Xirrus and Intelligent Stadium Solutions provides venues and stadiums with a robust and scalable wireless infrastructure to meet the growing demands of fans.

With the customisable iStadium App platform, venues can engage with thousands of fans and visitors in real-time, while also generating clear return on investment through interactive content such as in-stadium betting, merchandise offers, concession incentives, ticket promotions and sponsor advertising.

Fully customisable and branded to the requirements of the venue or sports club, the app also delivers ‘fanalytics’ to the venue operator, providing unique insights into fan behaviour and the complete user experience. Benefits to fans include access to in-play statistics and video highlights, social media integration, commentary for the hearing and visually impaired and the ability to report stadium incidents in a safe way.

With the ability to track specific outputs via the iStadium App, such as number of downloads of specific content, number of bets placed or number of merchandise offers purchased, stadiums are able to demonstrate a tangible return on investment and introduce new monetisation activities for the venue and its sponsorship partners.
