Germany’s Imtradex is joined by Denmark’s INVISIO Communication at this year's General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference (GPEC), which will be held from 9-11 September in Leipzig, Germany,
The two companies will focus on equipment designed to provide smooth communications between command and control centres and fire brigades or police forces.
At stand C52, Imtradex will present the INVISIO M3 in-ear headset (pictured above), which is designed as an alternative to conventional headsets for use in high noise environments. The product is being marketed under a sales cooperation agreement with the Danish manufacturer INVISIO, whereby Imtradex will offer the product in Germany to the military and police, as well as for use by industry in general.
Imtradex will also showcase its Aurelis Nexus PTT hand microphone (pictured below), which was specifically developed for the digital radio standard for use by fire services. Thanks to its extra-large push-to-talk (PTT) button with short sensing path and precisely defined pressure point, it is easy to operate even when wearing big working gloves.
In addition to the PTT button and the high-quality speakers, the 180g Aurelis Nexus PTT includes (depending on the version) an emergency call button, a three-level volume control and two-colour LED. The handheld microphone is splash-proof and has an automatic headset switching. The Aurelis Nexus PTT is compatible with both analogue and digital radios.
The INVISIO M3 can be connected via a Nexus jack to the Aurelis Nexus PTT The innovative, extremely small and light bone microphone can suppress ambient noise completely, ensuring clear communication in the noisiest environments A soft spring in-ear mount provides a secure, comfortable fit in the ear, with concealed supporting manner and under helmets, gas masks or ear-enclosing headsets.
For covert applications when the user does not want to draw attention to himself, a whisper function is include to ensure discretion. Imtradex describes the combination of the Aurelis Nexus PTT with the INVISIO as a ‘dream team’ for fire and police operations.
“At GPEC we will, together with INVISIO, give a comprehensive insight into our specially tailored communications solutions for firefighters and riot police, and we are available for questions and discussions with the decision makers. Of course, we will also have other solutions for the security sector, such as our headsets from the OnGuard Series with us at the GPEC exhibition,” said Ralf Kudernak, managing director of Imtradex.
