Polish police in Silesia to use DMR radios from Hytera Mobilfunk

Hytera Mobilfunk is supplying DMR digital two-way radios to the Polish police in the administrative district Silesia. The contract was won by Hytera's Polish partner RTcom, which received the order for DMR radios and accessories at the end of 2013. The Silesian police force is the first in Poland to use radios supplied by Hytera.

The force is now using almost 300 PD785G DMR radios. They were designed in accordance with the DMR standard and excel through their ergonomic design, extensive digital functions, as well as high voice quality. The PD785G radio was chosen thanks to its the fact that its wide range of functions met all technical requirements and it offered the best price-performance ratio.

Hytera is also supplying 32 6-x charging stations (MCA06), which are designed to enable convenient battery management.

The new Hytera radios will be used on the existing Polish DMR police mobile radio network. They will be used together with devices from other manufacturers.
