ZTE launches the ZTEd mobile education solution for mobile learning

ZTE Corporation will launch its ZTEd mobile education solution at this year’s CeBIT expo held in Hanover, Germany, next week (10-14 March 2014).

Designed to meet the education sector’s requirements for smart classrooms, the ZTEd mobile education solution incorporates education content, methodology and information tools.

It integrates the education cloud platform, interactive class system, micro video courseware production toolkit and mobile learning applications to provide a one-stop learning experience. Based on a “Cloud-Pipe-Terminal” model, ZTEd allows anybody to learn any teaching material, anytime, on any terminal.

The ZTEd solution provides a better teaching experience for teachers and a better learning experience for students by supporting both one-to-one digital learning and inquiry-based learning, the company asserted.

Through the “big data” analysis of teaching and learning behaviour, it pushes resources precisely to people who need them, helps education administrators make decisions, provides guidance for students and teachers, enables results–based management and helps drive teacher-student, teacher-teacher and student-student interactions.

By integrating resources and optimising flows, it provides an equitable, balanced, convenient, and efficient smart education environment that is available to everyone and can effectively improve the quality of students' and teachers' work.

'ZTE's mobile education solution based on the Cloud-Pipe-Terminal model - lifts the restrictions of time and space on education services, supports ubiquitous and interactive learning, alleviates the problems caused by insufficient education resources and their uneven distribution, achieves 'education for all-round development', and improves teacher and education quality.

'We hope this solution can help more worldwide educational institutions and enterprise customers to remove the constraints of traditional education and leap forward towards intelligence-based education,' said Xu Ming, vice president of ZTE Corporation.

ZTE's education solution has already been successfully deployed in 11 countries including Turkey and China, and has achieved good social results.
