Hytera announced the launch of its latest DMR standard radios - the PD50X and PD60X, at an event in Shenzhen, China, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the company.
The new radios are aimed at commercial users who are looking for cost effective choices to replace their analogue radios. The PD50X and the PD60X (pictured) are designed to provide a smooth migration to digital radio at an affordable price with an innovative design.
Hytera's vice-president for R&D, GS Kok (pictured below), announced the launch of the latest DMR radios - the PD50X and PD60X, while Alexander Heinz, VP marketing and product management of Hytera Mobilfunk, indicated that Hytera’s TETRA2/TEDS system is in the right position to evolve from TETRA 1 to Broadband TETRA.
Hytera also hosted the PMR Industry Forum at its event on 10 October 2013. Speakers including Thomas Lynch, associate director of IHS, Qingsheng Jiang, board chairman of the Professional Digital Trunking Association (PDT is a Chinese digital trunking protocol) and Phil Kidner, CEO of TCCA (TETRA Critical Communications Association) gave their views on the trends and developments in PMR technologies, including DMR and TETRA technologies.
The founder and president of Hytera, Qingzhou Chen (pictured below) delivered a presentation about Hytera's development and future strategic planning. He said he believed that the future of the PMR industry lies in technology and product innovation stimulated by customers' requirements, and partnership synergy.
