Airwave and royal KPN NV (KPN), the ICT and mission critical communications service provider in The Netherlands, have formally announced the signing of a joint strategic agreement.
This close collaboration will leverage their proven capabilities and presents both companies with the opportunity to utilise their experience as industry specialists to the Dutch government and its people.
“It will allow both KPN and Airwave to focus on opportunities in the Dutch marketplace and means that we can jointly offer our experience and expertise in the delivery of world-class critical communications to organisations that provide vital public services,” says Richard Bobbett, chief executive officer, Airwave.
“The alliance and new technologies, like 4G LTE network capabilities, will drive the mutual and efficient development of new integrated voice and data communication solutions for the public safety domain. And to meet our government’s public services requirements to become more effective, anytime, anywhere and when every second counts!” says Dennis Gooijer, director KPN critical communications.
