Indigo Telecom Group wins UK support service contract with Huawei

Telecom specialist services company Indigo Telecom Group, has signed an agreement to supply Chinese ICT solutions provider, Huawei, with professional support services at the Huawei Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) in Reading., UK.

The deal, which will run for 12 months, is the end result of a tender process that gave Indigo the opportunity to demonstrate its expertise in network, monitoring, maintenance and support. Indigo will supply first line support to Huawei’s network customers with onsite personnel based at Huawei’s TAC, as well as additional services including network management and overflow support, emergency and major event cover.

Stephen Thompson, CEO at Indigo (pictured), said: “This is a significant win for Indigo and demonstrates that we can deliver best in class network monitoring, maintenance and support. We are focussed on providing added value to our clients and will be supplying Huawei with additional overflow capacity through the Indigo Network Operation Centre and a scalable service that will support their growth in the UK market.”

Indigo Telecom Group, part of Team Telecom Group (TTG) that also includes PMR manufacturer Simoco, is a specialist Pan-European support services company, with expertise in the planning, design, building, and maintenance of carrier-class telecommunications networks.

The company offers a range of installation, commissioning, professional and technical services and assists with the planning, deployment, integration, management and maintenance of mission-critical telecommunications infrastructure.
