Hytera supplies covert X1e DMR radio to Turkish police

Hytera is supplying its X1e DMR digital covert radio to the Turkish National Police Intelligence Department. The Department is an important part of the National Police force and is primarily responsible for the national security intelligence of Turkey.

Intelligence is of vital importance for the country’s national security, so maintaining confidentiality is key. To ensure confidentiality and security in critical missions, the Turkish National Police Intelligence Department decided to upgrade their communication equipments with more slim, portable and covert radios.

Hytera offered its latest X1e DMR digital covert radio to the Intelligence Department to meet their requirements. Hytera describes the X1e as the world’s thinnest and smallest full-power digital portable radio. The main body of the radio is just 18mm thin, which makes it easy to carry and use.

The X1e comes with advanced AES digital encryption, IP67 compliance certification and provides discreet communication when used in combination with covert accessories to deliver a truly secure, reliable and discreet service to mission critical users.

Hytera also provided its SmartDispatch DMR dispatching system to the Intelligence Department alongside the terminals to aid accurate locating and tracking.

The company is providing product training to officers of Turkish National Police Intelligence Department. During the training, the new member of the X series, the X1p ultra-thin, full-power keypad DMR radio, was also introduced.
