Adax, the signaling infrastructure provider, will showcase its range of Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) and Mobile Data Offload solutions, along with its LTE compact core network, at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Stand 7H90 in Hall 7.
The rise of mobile data consumption has meant the network is congested and the increasing access to data-centric applications and rise in demand for mobile video applications is putting a tremendous amount of stress on mobile networks.
Focusing on helping operators efficiently migrate to the all-new LTE network, Adax will demonstrate solutions that will enable the delivery of new billing practices and the delivery of services that will drive quality, as well as its solutions to increase security.
Robin Kent, director of Adax Europe, said: ‘Operators will benefit from having a concrete strategy before they purchase 4G spectrum. Correct billing and service provision procedures are critical to maximising revenue potential for operators while also giving customers the best experience available.
‘The inevitable surge in data consumption with the full 4G rollout will mean that pressure on the core network will need to be alleviated. If this is not done then customers will be unable to fully exploit the significantly faster network connection.’
Adax technology enables operators to effectively cope with the challenges of the ever-increasing demand for mobile data, while being able to create a better user experience and increase revenue potential. The Adax solutions for the All-IP LTE Network include:
• LTE compact core network: Aricent EPC-Lite software has been fully integrated with the Adax Application Ready Platform to provide a low-footprint, highly-scalable and cost-effective LTE mobility platform with high data throughput.
• Policy Enforcement: The intelligent Packet Filtering and Packet Processing strengths of the Adax boards and DPI software enable delivery of more flexible services and sophisticated pricing plans.
• Mobile data-offload: Adax products deliver the functionality to support both the data offload and policy enforcement to help move mobile internet traffic off the IP core to relieve congestion in the network.
• Security Gateways: AuthenTec QuickSec software is fully integrated with Adax boards, blades and servers to provide a carrier-grade IPsec solution that delivers robust, high-speed, security functions and Security Gateways.
Adax will be at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (25-28 February) on Stand 7H90 in Hall 7.
