US manufacturer Motion Computing has announced the release of the Motion J3600 tablet PC, the next generation in the J-Series line of tablet PCs. The dual touch, rugged J3600 offers improved power, performance and connectivity.
The J3600 is designed to optimize mobile productivity from navigating and updating building information models (BIM) on a construction site, to managing utility assets and automating field inspections or accessing and updating complete patient information through the electronic health record (EHR) solution. This enables users to more quickly and seamlessly gather and document data results in improved productivity and overall job performance.
The tablet features the latest Intel i7 vPro processor, or i5 or i3 Core processors, which extend both battery life and performance. It comes with with up to a 256GB SSD and 16GB of RAM to provide better productivity. Additionally, enhanced Bluetooth, USB and Wi-Fi connectivity enable improved data acquisition, collaboration and documentation. All enhancements are targeted to mobile workflows that require advanced performance.
