Imtradex, one of Europe's leading headset manufacturers, will be showcasing its range of digital radio accessories at this year’s TETRA World Congress in Dubai.
The company points out that it is particularly important that users select the right professional headset, especially if they are making the transition from analogue to digital radio technology. Headsets need to be compatible with the radio and its plugs.
It also notes that analogue headsets cannot easily be made operational through an adapter for digital radio, as the communication with the digital radio using analogue accessories will give a disturbed noise.
To combat this, Imtradex has developed innovative screening methods for its headsets, which provide perfect hear/talk quality. In addition, the company has developed the Aurelis handheld microphones as special accessories for modern digital radio systems.
Ralf Kudernak, managing director of Imtradex Hör-/Sprechsysteme GmbH, said that the company wants to offer its users a variety of different tailored solutions. As such it has placed great importance on the development of its Aurelis Series of microphones, which provide a high degree of flexibility in the technical equipment. For example, special versions of the Aurelis handheld microphones are made for use by fire departments or other emergency services.
On the third day of the congress (Wednesday 16May) at 14.55, Ralf Kudernak will be a making a presentation entitled: ‘Using measurement equipment to determine the speech intelligibility of digital radio devices and their accessories in DMO or TMO mode.’
Imtradex can be found at stand B101 during the TETRA World Congress.
