Kenwood has launched new professional radios approved with
ATEX Directive 94/9/EC, which regulates the manufacturer and
quality control of equipment designed for use in potentially
explosive atmospheres in EU countries.
Kenwood said a professional radio has an advantage over a mobile
phone because it provides 'immediate' and 'reliable'
communications to a whole team or group.
