Getac UK has launched a rugged smartphone designed to meet the requirements of field service professionals across a range of industries. The company describes the MH132 as ideal for users in the manufacturing, utilities, transportation and distribution fields.

The MH132 provides integrated voice and data communication capabilities, as well as protection from drops, vibration, dust and rain showers. The device is Getac’s first entry into the smartphone market. It runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 and is compatible with a wide range of different business applications and corporate IT systems.
